Thomboy Properties, Inc., Debuts the Rennick House at Modernism Week

Jackie Thomas and Deeann McCoy of Thomboy Properties, Inc., debuted the historic Rennick House during Modernism Week, highlighting the 11-day festival with a perfectly remodeled property fit for the Mid-century modern attendees to view. Located in the Indian Canyons neighborhood of Palm Springs, the home was transformed from a rundown dwelling to a Mid-century gem.
The home was originally built in 1964 for Avery and Virginia Rennick. As a well-known furniture designer with close ties to Hollywood celebrities, including John Wayne, Rennick was also one of the original developers of the Sunset Strip from 1930 to 1950.
Dunn-Edwards was proud to be the exclusive paint sponsor for the Rennick House. Highlighting the home with a custom key yellow color called Yosemite Gold, the palette rounded out with DEW341 Swiss Coffee and DEW340 Whisper. This stunning historic Palm Springs home reflects the lengths of perfection that Thomas and McCoy go to in order to preserve and protect the integrity of Mid-century design and architecture, creating homes that are almost always sold before the doors open for public viewing.
Shawn Savage, a local artist that McCoy and Thomas use for all their projects, created several original new paintings for the Rennick House project using Dunn-Edwards paint and color.
