Tune in this Thursday, August 27, at 11 a.m. over on Instagram Live @DunnEdwards to get a sneak peek at the 2020 Pasadena Showcase House of Design! I will be speaking with Jill Fosselman, the 2020 Chair of the Showcase Home about the history and characteristics of the home as we get to peak into several of the rooms. And we will touch on the challenges the group has faced this year putting together such a remarkable project during an unprecedented year and highlight the unique ways the home will be presented this year.
This year, the 56th Pasadena Showcase House of Design will be held at the Locke House, a 1937 Federal-country estate designed by “Hollywood’s society architect,” Gerard R. Colcord. It was patterned after
country homes constructed for affluent families on the east coast. The house is nestled among mature oaks and sits on expansive, park-like grounds in the historic Santa Anita Oaks neighborhood of Arcadia.
Beginning mid-October, the virtual tour will be presented as Ultimate Viewpoints: 56, currently in production. This 360 interactive tour will provide a unique perspective of the Showcase Home while you view in the safety of your own home.
