At Dunn-Edwards, we have always been committed to delivering only the best paint, products and services to our customers and, in continuing that tradition, we are proud to announce that we have added Corona Brushes to our line of high-quality painting tools. The story of Corona Brushes, Inc. spans decades, but the company's dedication to its traditional principles — quality, ingenuity and hard work — still prevails in the modern world.
In a small village amid the turmoil of post-World War I Russia, Corona founder Jude Waksman learned the trade of processing hog bristles for paintbrush manufacturing. The desire to create a better life for his family led him to Havana, Cuba, where the family enterprise was born, and later to Tampa, Florida.
As Jude and his sons adapted their paintbrushes to a new market, they slowly earned the loyalty of independent dealers. Painters began to realize that the Corona name meant quality painting tools. Now, three generations later, the principles up on which Jude built his company continue to guide the daily operations of Corona Brushes. At Corona Brushes, what matters most endures.
Quality. After three generations in brush-making, they still know that every detail, no matter how small, is one more opportunity to make something good, even better. Corona carefully crafts its brushes and rollers to meet and exceed not just its own high standards, but its customers', as well. At Corona, quality means taking pride in what it creates. It's an old-fashioned concept, but one that has guaranteed its customers the finest tools for more than 50 years.
Ingenuity. Providing customers with unsurpassed quality decade after decade requires the ability to embrace change with ingenuity, resourcefulness and vision. Corona has built its reputation for unique painting products by applying new approaches and the most current techniques to meet customers' changing needs. In addition, the Corona team pays the sharpest attention to detail as it hand-constructs all of its professional paintbrushes. With the right amount of stock, taper, and the company's own hand-formed, soft-flagged edge, Corona ensures smooth, even, fast coverage time and time again.
Hard Work. What started as a small family business has grown and prospered over the years due, in great part, to Corona's heritage of hard work — and its products are designed to work just as hard. Rollers are built with trademark touches, including durable cage-fastening and attachment systems in the frames and high-density fabrics in the sleeves. For customers, this tradition translates into superior products and outstanding quality that have also become part of the Corona legacy.
Quality. Ingenuity. Hard work. These are the trademarks of Corona Brushes that provide the legacy of quality craftsmanship that Dunn-Edwards is proud to offer. Next time you're in a one of our stores, stop by and see for yourself!
