We spoke to a few of our painting contractors who have already found InstaColor iD an invaluable tool that makes their lives easier, not to mention more profitable!

What was matching color like before you had InstaColor iD?

Our contractors agreed that the “standard” process of matching color is time-consuming and labor-intensive.

Hugh Ford of Phoenix-based Copper Valley Painting, said, “It was a long process. You had to get the fan deck out and try to have a good eye — or try to get a sample, take it to the store and have it color-matched. Richard McKinnon of Chino, Calif.-based System 1 Interiors said that he had a customer who needed to figure out a pale shade of blue for repainting a kitchen and bathroom. After I told her what color came up, she said ‘That’s the color!’ She was very pleased and almost speechless,” McKinnon said.
