New Aristoshield® by Dunn-Edwards Paints
Water-based Coating with an Enamel Finish
LOS ANGELES -- (December 15, 2015) Dunn-Edwards Paints has introduced [PRODUCT-PAGE#aristoshield], a line of ultra-premium, water-based urethane alkyd paint that offers the look and durability of an oil-based enamel. These new interior/exterior paints are ideal for use on high-end residential, commercial and industrial projects, where superior performance and durability are required. “For the first time ever, we’re offering a high-gloss finish, in addition to eggshell and semi-gloss – all in a complete range of tint bases,” said Sam Carrillo, product manager. “It’s a fabulous product that provides the upscale enamel look people want.”
All [PRODUCT-PAGE#aristoshield] interior/exterior paints are formulated using advanced water-based urethane alkyd resin technology that provide exceptional performance, adhesion, and durability. “It is easy to apply and produces a highly durable, smooth and uniform finish in any sheen. It truly produces the finest architectural enamel finish with the ease of water-based paint,” added Carrillo.
[PRODUCT-PAGE#aristoshield] can be used on properly prepared interior and exterior wood, metal, masonry and drywall. It can also be used as a direct-to-metal (DTM) coating on properly prepared surfaces. “Painting contractors, homeowners, architects and designers looking for oil-like performance in a water-based paint now have a clear choice,” says Carrillo.
The new [PRODUCT-PAGE#aristoshield] products will debut in all Dunn-Edwards store locations beginning December 15. Like all other Dunn-Edwards products, [PRODUCT-PAGE#aristoshield] is low odor, ultra-low VOC paint that is eco-friendly and produced in the world’s only LEED® Gold-certified paint manufacturing plant. All Dunn-Edwards water-based paints are tinted with zero-VOC colorants. For more information about our products, visit dunnedwards.com, or contact your local sales representative.
