Dunn-Edwards MasterSpec Streamlines Painting Specifications

LOS ANGELES (January 12, 2012) Dunn-Edwards, the Southwest's leading manufacturer of premium paint, has partnered with ARCOM, considered a leader in helping design and building professionals produce accurate, professional building and construction specifications. Dunn-Edwards now provides the Product MasterSpec tool for its interior and exterior architectural coatings.

The Dunn-Edwards MasterSpec is free and provides the foundation for painting specification(s) with benchmarks that can help save time and money. It is designed to streamline comparative evaluations and lower service life costs by providing physical composition tables and ASTM or MPI standards relevant to the project needs. It has customizable CSI-formatted exterior, interior/LEED, and interior LEED/CHPS painting specifications pre-formatted with Dunn-Edwards products.

“This tool establishes clear, measurable standards and will save time for the specifier by providing the most up-to-date product information and details of new regulations and compliance issues,” explained Ken Laszczak, Architectural Services Manager. “And, because it's constantly updated, there is no need to archive - just visit our website with assurance it is the most current information.”
