Dunn-Edwards Introduces New and Improved Bloc-Rust^® Premium

LOS ANGELES - (September 9, 2014) As part of its ongoing commitment to develop high performance products that are safe for people and the environment, Dunn-Edwards has introduced New and Improved Bloc-Rust^® Premium metal primers in white and red oxide.

Unlike conventional alkyd or oil-based primers, New and Improved Bloc-Rust^® Premium uses an advanced waterborne alkyd technology, which provides the superior application properties of an oil-based primer. The product is low odor, fast drying, and is easy to apply. Because Bloc-Rust^® uses waterborne alkyd technology, tools and equipment can easily be cleaned with water instead of conventional solvents.

“The New and Improved Bloc-Rust^® Premium blocks rust by protecting metal surfaces from moisture,” explained Sam Carrillo, product manager. “It has excellent corrosion resistance and adhesion on a variety of interior and exterior ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces.”
