Dunn-Edwards Improves SUPREMA® Interior Flat and Velvet Paint
Enhanced Hide, Burnish Resistance and Touch Up
LOS ANGELES (May 8, 2012) Dunn-Edwards has improved its SUPREMA® product line. SUPREMA® maintains its reputation as a premium interior, ultra-low VOC, acrylic latex paint that combines exceptional hide with superior stain resistance and washability. Now, the Flat and Velvet finish levels (10 and 20) provide better hide, burnish resistance and touch up that will go a long way to ensure that painting professionals can provide the best possible interior paint for their client's homes.
SUPREMA® is a more durable paint and richer in resin than the competition. The high quality resins in its formulation provide better scrub resistance by creating a harder film. SUPREMA® has excellent flow and leveling because it uses a special thickening agent that interacts better with the resin particles to allow the paint film to flow better. This ensures a smooth, even finish every time. “The improvements that we've made further demonstrate the premium standing of our SUPREMA® line," said Dave Heiligenthal, product marketing manager. “It represents the best balance of film durability and application performance in an interior product with a Dunn-Edwards label. Plus, it is backed by our Limited Lifetime Guarantee," said Heiligenthal.
Like all Dunn-Edwards products that bear the EG-Free™ logo, SUPREMA® is ethylene glycol (EG)-free and produced in the world's only LEED Gold-certified paint manufacturing plant. SUPREMA® is ultra-low VOC at 50 grams/liter, and has very low odor both during and after application.
The improved SUPREMA® Flat and Velvet will be available in Dunn-Edwards' stores in late May, and new product availability will vary from store to store.
