Winter Color Crush: 4 Moody Palettes To Steal This Season

Winter is coming. With the winter solstice quickly approaching on on December 21st, we’re taking a look at some winter-inspired color palettes to help guide you this holiday season.
This first palette is inspired by cozy nights in, drinking hot chocolate out of your favorite mug! This palette includes dark green-blue hues and warm brown tones.
Palette number 3 is inspired by much cooler toned hues seen in the heart of winter when the weather is wet and gray. The kind of days when you’d rather stay in bed and read a good book. Add in some warm neutral hues like those in a delicious cup milk tea and the stained pages of an old book for contrast.
The fourth, and final palette is inspired by the days when fall melds into winter. When the air is crisp, the leaves have turned and frosted over. The colors are warm and merry, and this palette also includes Dunn Edward’s very own 2017 Color of the year, Honey Glow.
Whichever palette you love most, Dunn-Edwards offers up to 100 (yes, you heard right) 100 hundred color samples for you figure out which winter colors are for you. We can’t wait to see what combinations you all come up with!
