Introducing the Eichler Palms by KUD Properties
01/31/2019 | Sara McLean |
Modernism Week’s signature February festival will take place February 14-24, 2019, highlighting Mid-century modern architecture, art, interior and landscape design, and vintage culture in the Palm Springs area of Southern California. For the 14th year, the annual 11-day festival features a wide array of events, including the Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale, as well as tours of iconic homes in more than 30 neighborhoods.
Highlighted among the home tours is the latest Desert Eichler property developed by KUD Properties. This newly built residence is a replica of the original homes designed by Joseph Eichler but modernized for
today’s standard of living. Throughout the years, KUD Properties has delighted the Coachella Valley with a variety of Desert Eichler projects, of which Dunn-Edwards was proud to be a part.
This latest property is owned by Brad and Heather Fox, the Minneapolis-based duo behind HGTV's "Stay or Sell.” Soon-to-be-known as the "Eichler Palms," the Fox's new desert pied-a-terre is an expansive five-bedroom home built by KUD Properties — featuring the best of Eichler's structures with upgrades and modern features for the contemporary lifestyle. The Foxes bring their expertise in remodeling and restoring Mid-century modern homes in Minneapolis to bear in this charming desert abode to create a modern sanctuary for their young family.
With a clean palette of whites and charcoal and a sparkling dose of yellow, Dunn-Edwards is proud to be a sponsor of this project.
