Modernism Week is back in Palm Springs from February 13 - 23, 2025, celebrating its 20th anniversary with an exciting lineup of events that highlight the timeless beauty of Mid-Century Modern design. Modernism Week Featured Home Tour: The West House

Step back in time and tour a 1954 residence in the heart of Old Las Palmas, previously renovated by the legendary Albert Frey and formerly owned by actor Adam West, the original Batman, Recently revitalized by Michelle Boudreau Design, this residence embodies the sleek elegance of Mid-century Modern architecture, showcasing how modern twists can breathe new life into a classic home.
Modernism Week Featured Home Tour: The Sackley Chase Sensation

For those drawn to the raw elegance of Brutalist Modern architecture, the Sackley Chase Sensation is a must-see. Located in the Indian Canyons neighborhood, this home was originally designed by Stan Sackley in 1976 and beautifully decorated by interior design icon Steve Chase. Recently renovated by Grace Home Furnishings, the home retains its Brutalist charm. Explore the perfect harmony between the preserved 1970s design and a refreshed, stylish renovation.
Atomic Ranch Talk & Tour: The Sackley Chase Sensation
Take your tour of the Sackley Chase Sensation a step further with a deep dive into the home’s design with designers Michael Ostrow and Roger Stoker of Grace Home Furnishings, and Lauren Hoferkamp, Dunn-Edwards Trends and Color Marketing Manager. Hosted by Atomic Ranch editor, Jickie Torres, this talk and tour will explore how the home’s original elements were preserved and integrated into the recent renovation, plus a look into historical color palettes. Tickets are $65.

Willis VIP Bus Tour: An Exclusive Architecture Experience
For architecture and design professionals looking for a more in-depth architectural adventure, the Willis VIP Bus Tour is the ultimate way to explore Palm Springs’ Mid-century Modern gems. Co-sponsored by Dunn-Edwards, this tour will take you to some of the most iconic homes, including the West House and the Sackley Chase Sensation, and more stops along the way.
Bus tour dates are Tuesday, February 18 or Wednesday, February 19, with pick-ups at the Dunn-Edwards Laguna Hills store, San Diego, and locally in Palm Springs. Tickets are available for purchase at 4willis.com.
