Engaging New Art Series In Long Beach
Art Renzei and Long Beach Walls (formerly known as Pow! Wow! Long Beach) returned this year (Aug 29 – Sept 4) with Stand Up to showcase a series of outdoor installations and events in a week-long festival. The theme of this year’s event in Long Beach was to celebrate diversity, spirit and vision of women in art, and each artist was provided the freedom to create artwork that will live throughout the city.
Art Renzei is a multimedia art festival showcasing the beauty of Long Beach, engaging the community through artistic curiosity to breathe new life into the surroundings. Long Beach Walls is part of the globally recognized Worldwide Walls series of street art events that brings murals to public spaces in cities like Honolulu and Washington, D.C. In the past 6 years, Long Beach Walls has provided murals in more than 40 square miles throughout Long Beach, creating an outstanding public art experience for those living and working in the city.
